COMPANY: Leading Multinational Manufacturer DESIGNATION :Head of Production LOCATION:India SALARY:Takehome USD 4,000 + Accommodation and BenefitsOVERVIEW: Our client is a leading multinational manufacturer seeking for aHead of Productionwho will be responsible for leading, planning, and managing the entire production function to ensure operational efficiency, product quality, cost effectiveness, and timely delivery. This role requires extensive experience in the printing, packaging, or labelling industry with strong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adherence to industry standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead and oversee the end-to-end production process including planning, scheduling, printing, finishing, and dispatch. Ensure adherence to quality standards, customer specifications, and industry compliance. Manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction. Collaborate with sales, design, procurement, and quality teams to align production with customer requirements and business objectives. Implement and monitor KPIs to track production output, efficiency, and on-time delivery. Lead, coach, and develop the production team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Maintain plant and machinery in optimal working condition through preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Oversee vendor and supplier relationships related to production operations. Support the introduction of new technologies, methods, and processes to remain competitive.PRE - REQUISITES: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Management, or related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage. 10+ years of progressive experience in theprinting, packaging, or labelling industry , with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven expertise in production planning, operations management, and quality systems.
