The Head – Product Development & R&D will develop formulations for the manufacture of nutraceutical and cosmeceutical products. This role is responsible for driving new product development, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimising formulations, and translating scientific research into commercially viable products.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Research & Development- Lead development of nutraceutical formulations and cosmeceuticals from concept to commercialisation - Design and optimize formulations for efficacy, stability, bioavailability, and scalability - Evaluate and select raw materials, actives, excipients, and extraction technologies of Plants & Herbs - Drive innovation aligned with market trends and customer requirementsRegulatory & Compliance- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, AYUSH, FDA, EU, and cosmetic regulations as applicable - Prepare and review product dossiers, technical documentation, and regulatory submissions - Coordinate with QA/QC for validation, stability studies, and SOPsQualifications & Experience- PhD / M.Pharm / M.Sc / M.Tech in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or related field - 10–15+ years of hands-on R&D experience in extracts, nutraceuticals, or cosmoceuticals - Strong knowledge of formulation science, process and extraction technologies, and regulatory frameworks - Proven track record of successful product launchesKey Skills- Nutraceutical & cosmetic formulation - Regulatory compliance (FSSAI, AYUSH, FDA) - Process scale-up & technology transfer - Innovation & problem-solving - Leadership & cross-functional collaboration - Herbal & botanical extract developmentEmployment TypeFull-time
