MDM Specialist, Supply Chain & OMS / RELEX Modernization

This role plays a key part in our Order Management System (OMS) and replenishment modernization, supporting the transition from Symphony Gold to RELEX.You will be responsible for establishing trusted golden records, enforcing strong data quality standards, and building governed workflows that connect upstream ERP and PIM systems with RELEX, OMS, merchandising, and analytics platforms. Your work will directly impact forecasting accuracy, replenishment efficiency, and order orchestration across the enterprise.What You Will DoMDM Strategy and GovernanceDefine and implement MDM policies, data standards, business rules, and stewardship models across Product, Vendor, and Location domainsEstablish data ownership models, approval workflows, and change controls for item and vendor onboardingManage complex hierarchies including category, department, class, store clusters, planograms, and fulfillment nodesData Modeling and Golden Record ManagementDesign canonical data models, survivorship rules, and match and merge logic for duplicate detectionImplement and govern reference data such as UOM, tax, currency, lifecycle codes, and hazard flagsEnsure data lineage and impact analysis across ERP, PIM, MDM, RELEX, OMS, WMS, Finance, and reporting platformsData Quality and StewardshipDevelop and automate data quality rules and scorecards focused on completeness, accuracy, consistency, and timelinessLead data profiling, cleansing initiatives, and mass updates including UOM, pack size, lead times, and min maxCoordinate UAT, cutover readiness, and master data validation during the Symphony Gold to RELEX migrationIntegration and AutomationPartner with integration teams on APIs, event streaming, and ETL or ELT pipelinesSupport both real-time and batch master data distribution across enterprise platformsEmbed data validation checks into CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion processesCompliance and EnablementEnsure compliance with security, privacy, SOX, and audit requirementsDevelop MDM runbooks, SOPs, and incident response proceduresTrain data stewards and business users and enable self-service onboarding workflowsRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data and Analytics, or equivalent experienceExperience4 to 7 years of experience in MDM, data governance, or data engineering within retail or supply chain environmentsExperience supporting forecasting or replenishment systems, preferably RELEXSymphony Gold experience is a strong plusTechnical SkillsStrong SQL skills including joins, window functions, and data profilingExperience with ETL or ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or SSISAPI integration experience using REST and JSONFamiliarity with data quality, metadata, and catalog toolsExperience with cloud platforms and CI/CD practicesDomain KnowledgeDeep understanding of product, vendor, and location master dataKnowledge of UOM, pack configuration, lead times, safety stock, assortment, and substitutionSolid understanding of OMS concepts including ATP, inventory availability, reservations, and sourcingPreferred QualificationsHands-on experience configuring or onboarding data into RELEXBackground in retail merchandising, pricing, or assortment planning
