About Us: RailLabs is an ambitous Digital Railway Safety startup incubated at IIT-MIC. We are building cutting-edge solutions for railway safety using advanced technologies in ultrasonics, robotics, machine vision, and autonomous systems. We are looking for a seasoned tech leader to join as Co-Founder & CTO and lead our technology vision and product development. Key Responsibilities: Lead industrial digital product development with substantial hands-on experience in building customer-facing products. Build, mentor, and manage high-performance engineering teams; define skill requirements, recruit, train, and monitor performance. Oversee product lifecycle from concept to commercialization including prototyping, scaling, and deployment. Strategically define technology roadmap and ensure alignment with business objectives. Manage outsourcing, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration. Who Can Apply: Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineer with 10+ years of overall experience; at least 5 years in team leadership. Proven experience in startup environments leading architecture and engineering teams to deliver scalable products. Strong research orientation, curiosity, high energy, and tolerance for ambiguity. Exposure to railway systems and IoT preferred. Track record of delivering fully commercialized products from concept to launch. Available to join within 2–3 months.
