SAP BASIS and BTP Administrator

Location: Chennai, India This role combines core SAP Basis administration responsibilities with support for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services. The individual will ensure the stability and performance of SAP systems while supporting key BTP services used by development and integration teams. About the Role This role combines core SAP Basis administration responsibilities with support for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services. The individual will ensure the stability and performance of SAP systems while supporting key BTP services used by development and integration teams. Responsibilities Perform SAP Basis tasks including system installations, upgrades, patching, transport management, user administration, and system monitoring. Manage secure connectivity between on-premise systems and BTP using SAP Cloud Connector. Support BTP configuration for services such as Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, and Business Application Studio. Manage BTP subaccounts, entitlements, roles, and service instances. Assist development and integration teams with platform setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting. Ensure proper access control and compliance with IT and security standards. Document system configurations and procedures. Qualifications Strong SAP Basis administration experience. Exposure to SAP BTP or willingness to learn. Understanding of system connectivity and basic cloud concepts. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Required Skills Strong SAP Basis administration experience. Preferred Skills While prior experience in all BTP services is not required, the candidate should have some working knowledge across the BTP areas and in-depth expertise in at least one of the following: Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, or Business Application Studio. The candidate should also be comfortable learning and managing the other services as needed.
