Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Test Manager to lead testing efforts across our SAP landscape, including S/4HANA and integrated systems. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent test management experience , strong leadership qualities , and expertise in automation, performance, and UAT testing . The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality delivery of SAP solutions by overseeing planning, execution, and continuous improvement of testing activities across all project phases. Key Responsibilities: Test Strategy & Planning • Define and own the SAP test strategy for multiple phases (SIT, UAT, Regression, Performance). • Collaborate with functional and technical leads to define test scope, schedule, and priorities. • Develop comprehensive test plans including resource planning, tools, and risk mitigation. Team Leadership • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of test leads, SDETs, and QA analysts (onsite/offshore). • Coordinate testing efforts across SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) and non-SAP systems. • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and quality ownership. Automation & Performance Testing • Oversee implementation of test automation frameworks (e.g., Tricentis Tosca, Selenium). • Ensure automation integration with CI/CD pipelines (SAP BTP, Jenkins, etc.). • Manage end-to-end performance testing initiatives using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan and coordinate UAT cycles. • Provide UAT support, environment readiness, test data provisioning, and defect triaging. • Ensure user sign-off and alignment on business requirements. Defect Management & QA Governance • Manage defect lifecycle and drive triage meetings using qTest, JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps. • Ensure timely resolution, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes. • Track KPIs such as test coverage, defect density, and test execution rates. Reporting & Communication • Provide executive-level dashboards and test progress reports. • Communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project stakeholders. • Ensure alignment of testing milestones with project delivery goals. Continuous Improvement • Introduce process improvements based on retrospectives and QA metrics. • Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, techniques, and accelerators. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. • Minimum 10 years of QA/testing experience with at least 5 years managing SAP testing. • Proven experience in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA testing (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid). • Hands-on knowledge of test automation and performance testing tools. • Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes and integrations . • Experience with offshore/onsite testing delivery models. • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. • ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred).
