Senior Payroll Manager – APACLocation: Pune, Hyderabad, or Chennai (Hybrid)Experience: 14–15 yearsAbout the Role:HealthEdge is expanding its Global Payroll team! We are seeking a Sr. Payroll Manager – APAC to lead payroll operations across India and the Philippines. This role involves managing end-to-end payroll processes, audits, and system migrations (Workday, ADP, etc.), while collaborating with global HR, Finance, and business leaders. If you are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities:- Lead APAC payroll team to ensure accurate, timely payroll, including base pay, stock compensation, payroll taxes, pension, statutory & supplemental benefits. - Manage relationships with external payroll providers. - Support payroll system migration and Workday/ADP integrations; ensure smooth data transfer and process continuity. - Consolidate and verify employee data, maintain records, and assist internal/external audits. - Ensure compliance with tax, PF, ESI, PT, and other statutory regulations. - Partner with internal stakeholders to provide employees with an exceptional payroll experience. - Prepare management reports and payroll statistics proactively. - Mentor and coach APAC payroll team for growth and development. - Identify process gaps, recommend automation, and support system enhancements. - Anticipate payroll risks, troubleshoot proactively, and ensure business continuity.What We’re Looking For:- Strong knowledge of payroll in APAC, including India & Philippines. - Expertise in end-to-end payroll processes and internal control concepts. - Ability to assess business process changes and provide strategic input. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external teams. - Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team management skills. - Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones. - Highly analytical, accurate, detail-oriented, and proactive. - Comfortable managing ambiguity, risk, and change.Skills & Qualifications:- 14–15 years of hands-on payroll experience. - Experience with GreytHR, ADP, Mynd; Workday or other HR systems is a plus. - Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills; ability to handle large datasets. - Knowledge of international equity and mobility programs. - Strong understanding of Indian payroll, statutory compliance, and benefits administration. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required. - Quick learner, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple deadlines.Why This Role Matters:You will manage payroll for 3500+ employees across multiple centers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and readiness for the next phase of digital payroll transformation.
