HAND EMBROIDERY INCHARGE

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Hand Embroidery In-Charge to lead our in-house embroidery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command over traditional and contemporary hand embroidery techniques, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to translate design ideas into high-quality embroidery pieces. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage a team of hand embroidery artisans. • Coordinate with the design and production teams to interpret embroidery layouts and concepts. • Ensure timely execution and delivery of embroidery orders while maintaining quality standards. • Train and mentor artisans in new techniques and ensure skill development. • Conduct regular quality checks and ensure minimal errors or rework. • Monitor inventory and ensure availability of embroidery materials (threads, beads, zari, etc.). • Maintain records of production and report progress to management. ⸻ Required Skills and Experience: • Minimum 5 years of experience in hand embroidery, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. • Strong knowledge of various embroidery styles such as Aari, Zardozi, French Knot, Mirror Work, etc. • Ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Attention to detail with a high standard of quality control. • Good communication and team leadership skills. • Experience working in high-end fashion, bridal wear, or couture garments is a plus.
