Ship Surveyor

Role Description- Carrying out Annual and Renewal - Class and Statutory surveys for of vessels in service. - Carrying out ISM audits as auditor on ships and in shore offices. - Carrying out ISPS audits and MLC Inspections as Lead auditor on ships. - Carrying testing activity and certification of marine products and service suppliers - Prepare technically accurate and timely Survey reports. - Carrying out other technical jobs as assigned by the Office Manager. - Work base at Chennai, India.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related fields - Minimum of 3 years of onboard experience as a Third Engineer or higher rank. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Naval Architecture (Ship Building) - Willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law and regulations. - Strong communication, professional reporting, and problem-solving skills - Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages, particularly Mandarin, is a plus - Previous experience in classification societies or shipyards is highly desirableCompany DescriptionChina Classification Society (CCS), established in 1956 and headquartered in Beijing, is a renowned member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).
