Be part of something bigger—shape mobility with JOST!Scope and Responsibilities- Calculations and design support related to Front Loaders and Backhoes for agricultural tractors in collaboration with the global JOST R&D Product Integration team. - Perform mechanical CAD design tasks and FEA calculation according to already established methods. - Lead method development for static and dynamic analysis of our products using established tools. - Lead structural analysis of complete loader & backhoe installed on a tractor to make predictions of durability in relation to a defined duty cycle and verified data from physical testing. - Screw joint analysis using FEA as well as established standardised methods. - Support input (placement and orientation) for setting up strain gauge measurements on physical products to verify calculation results. - Previous experience of working within the Agriculture industry are merit, especially with tractors. - Mainly welded constructions and sheet metal designs, so previous experience from the similar type of industry is merit. - General understanding for hydraulics for establishing boundary conditionsQualification and Minimum prior work experience- Masters degree in applied mechanics or mechanical engineering or equal education or experience. - Experience from FEA static and dynamic analysis on system level. - Previous experience from collaborating with European colleagues, customers or suppliers are merit. - Mechanical design of primarily sheet metal in the thicknesses we´re having in our integrations 5-30 mm.Personal Attributes and skills- Enjoy working with several parallel projects with relatively short development time for the different tasks. - Thorough documentation and reporting of results. - Good communication skills with the ability to prove your point and explain why a certain solution has been selected.
