Design engineer - Transmission line

Position: Design Engineer – Transmission Line Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 3 - 5 years Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review transmission line design drawings using AutoCAD and related software. Perform structural and electrical calculations for towers, conductors, and line components. Assist in route alignment, survey data analysis , and preparation of BOQ. Coordinate with project, civil, and electrical teams to ensure design accuracy. Ensure designs comply with IS, IEC, and IEEE standards . Participate in technical discussions and provide design support during project execution. Maintain proper documentation and revision control for all design deliverables. Required Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of transmission line design tools (e.g., PLS-CADD preferred). Understanding of tower design, foundation design , and line routing. Basic knowledge of electrical and structural design principles . Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a project-based environment.
