Job Summary:- Job Opening: Lead Design Engineer – Civil & Structural Location: Chennai Experience: 10–15 years Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering About the Role:- We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in design and engineering within the construction domain, delivering high-quality solutions for power infrastructure projects. Roles & Responsibilities:- • Structural analysis and design of AIS/GIS substations, control room buildings, and associated civil elements. • Design of transformer, tower, and girder foundations. • Development of drawings for outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, and drainage systems. • Design of outdoor steel structures and other miscellaneous works related to substations and cabling. • Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages. Required Qualifications:- • 10–15 years of relevant experience in Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission industry. • Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering design codes and standards. • Proficiency in design software and drafting tools, Such as STAAD Pro, STAAD, Etabs, and AutoCAD. • Experience in end-to-end design — from concept to detailed engineering.
