The Dean School of Humanities & Commerce will provide visionary leadership, strategic direction, and administrative oversight for all academic, research, and service activities within the school. The Dean will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the school, promoting excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. ● Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the School of Psychology and Counseling, aligning with the university’s overall mission and goals. ● Academic Excellence: Oversee curriculum development, academic programs, and accreditation processes to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student outcomes. ● Faculty Development: Recruit, mentor, and retain a diverse and highly qualified faculty. Promote faculty research, scholarship, and professional development. ● Research and Innovation: Encourage and support cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration within the fields of psychology and counseling. Secure funding and resources to enhance research initiatives. ● Student Success: Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Develop initiatives to enhance student engagement, retention, and success in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Qualifications: ● A doctoral degree in psychology, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related field is required. ● At least 10 years of academic experience in higher education, with a track record of leadership. ● A distinguished record of research, scholarship, and professional contributions to the field of psychology or counseling.
