Role: Test Digital Cockpit ValidationEducation: Engineering – BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MS Discipline – Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Computer, Electrical & ElectronicsExperience: 12–18 years in software validation and testing 5+ years inautomotive cockpit / IVI / cluster / infotainmenttest leadership rolesRole Overview The Test Manager is responsible forend‑to‑end validation of Automotive Digital Cockpit systems , includingInfotainment, Instrument Cluster, HUD, Multi‑Display Systems, Connectivity, and Vehicle Integration . This role owns thevalidation strategy, quality assurance, and test executionacross software, system, and vehicle levels, whileleading and scaling test teamsin a multi‑supplier automotive ecosystem.Key Responsibilities: Define and own theSoftware Validation Strategyfor Automotive Digital Cockpit platforms. Lead end‑to‑endsystem, integration, and vehicle‑level validationfor cockpit ECUs. Establishtest plans, validation roadmaps, and quality gatesaligned with OEM milestones. Manage and mentormulti‑disciplinary test teams(Manual, Automation, System, Performance, Compliance). Ensure comprehensive coverage across: Functional & integration testing Regression testing Performance, boot‑time, memory & CPU profiling Usability & HMI behavior validation Driveautomation‑first and shift‑left testing strategies . Coordinate validation activities acrossmultiple operating systemshosted on hypervisors. Collaborate closely withArchitecture, Development, System Engineering, DevOps, and Program teams . Owndefect lifecycle management , RCA, and quality metrics reporting. Interface withOEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, and third‑party software vendors . Ensure compliance withASPICE, Functional Safety, and Automotive Quality Standards .Core Technical Skills: Strong understanding ofAutomotive Digital Cockpit architectures . Experience withhypervisor‑based, multi‑OS platforms : Linux, Android Automotive, QNX, RTOS Knowledge ofautomotive communication protocols : CAN, Automotive Ethernet SOME/IP, DDS, A2B, IPC Experience validatingconnectivity and projection features : Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, USB, OTA Experience withautomation frameworks and tools Expertise withALM/SCM tools : Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA, ALM, Test Management tools Strong experience withlog analysis, debugging, and tracing tools . Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines and Continuous Testing .Leadership & Management Skills Proven experiencebuilding, leading, and mentoring high‑performing test teams . Strong planning, estimation, andresource management skills . Experience working inmulti‑site, global delivery models . Strong stakeholder management skills withOEMs, Tier‑1s, and suppliers . Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
