Our client, a leading industrial chemicals manufacturer in India , is looking to engage with a Senior Economic Analyst who can significantly contribute to a company's growth, stability, and strategic planning. Role Related Responsibilities: Track and analyze regular economic updates (GDP, inflation, trade, fiscal, FDI inflows, monetary policies and sectoral trends) Monitor, read, interpret government policy/regulations/reforms and announcements at both National & International levels Identify business implications for Sanmar group Prepare concise briefs /new letters/updates on economic & policy matters Support advocacy/industry body with data backed insights and benchmarking peer markets. Chairman Office Related Responsibilities: Support in leadership in keeping updated on economic and policy matters thereby leadership is prepared for internal /external meetings (you were suggesting PR agency as a anchor support, case in point is the NDTV interviews where he required data points before the live panel interview) Work with industry associations, research bodies wherever required to ensure understanding of macroeconomic, public policy and regulatory landscape Skills Required Personal Profile: With roots/connection/strong interest in Chennai Ability to analyze macroeconomic trends and industry data. Interest in building a career with the Group Organization over the next 10-15 years with at-least 5 years commitment and strong interest in Macro Economics and Public Policy. Academic Background: MBA in Tier 1-2 college or Post graduate degree in Public Policy/Macro Economics ideally 3 -5 years work experience, Attitude Drive and curiosity to learn and contribute to needs of the organization Strong expertise in economic modeling and forecasting
