Role Overview: As a TechOps L1 Engineer (Desktop/IT Support) , you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to end-users, managing IT assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals), and handling day-to-day operational tasks. You will ensure smooth functioning of IT systems, provide troubleshooting for hardware/software/network issues, and escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support. What You’ll Do: Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, and other IT assets. Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and standard office applications. Handle user onboarding/offboarding (account creation, email setup, access provisioning). Perform routine checks on hardware, antivirus, and system updates. Support video conferencing, VPN access, and remote work setups. Troubleshoot basic network issues (LAN/Wi-Fi, IP conflicts, DNS issues). Maintain IT asset inventory and track allocation/returns. Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams when required. Document incidents, resolutions, and maintain IT knowledge base. What Makes You a Great Fit: 2–4 years of experience in IT support / desktop support / TechOps. Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux troubleshooting. Familiarity with IT ticketing systems like Jira, OTRS). Understanding of networking basics (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP). Experience with Office 365 / Google Workspace administration (preferred).
