Controllership & Financial Integrity• Own end-to-end R2R (GL, journals, close, reconciliations, periodical Financial Statements)• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of books• Drive predictable month-end close (T+5 days)• Maintain audit-ready documentation and trails2. Payments, Cash & Controls• Design and enforce payment processes (maker–checker, approvals)• Ensure zero missed or duplicate payments• Establish daily and weekly cash visibility• Own approval matrices and financial authority frameworks3. Process Design & SOPs• Document and standardize AP, AR, Close, Payments, Compliance processes• Replace heroics with checklists, calendars, and discipline• Ensure processes scale with average talent4. Systems & Automation Discipline• Enforce ERP hygiene (period locks, voucher discipline, master data)• Partner with automation resources to reduce manual work5. Team Leadership & Capability Building• Work hands-on with associates and managers• Coach junior team members into owners• Build a dependable second line 6.
