Senior Business Analyst

Job description Role: Business Analyst Location: Chennai (On-site) Experience Required: 4+ years Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: We're looking for a Business Analyst who can own the project lifecycle - from requirement gathering to delivery - while aligning business goals with technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, analytical strength, and the ability to drive clarity across cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • End-to-End Ownership of business analysis activities across web and mobile app projects. • Work closely with clients and stakeholders to elicit and document clear business requirements. • Translate requirements into detailed user stories, wireframes, and functional specs. • Lead cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and QA engineers through the SDLC. • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives. • Monitor project progress and proactively identify roadblocks and dependencies. • Conduct market research & competitor analysis to inform feature and product decisions. • Act as the bridge between technical and nontechnical teams, ensuring all parties are aligned. • Collaborate with QA during testing to validate and sign off on final deliverables. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior BA role. • Solid understanding of mobile and web development technologies, Agile methodologies, and project workflows. Collaborate with QA during testing to validate and sign off on final deliverables. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or related field. • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1 year in a leadership or senior BA role. • Solid understanding of mobile and web development technologies, Agile methodologies, and project workflows. • Strong experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or similar. • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Clear and confident communication skills - both verbal and written. • Experience working directly with clients and managing expectations.
