Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in the manufacturing sector, capable of managing end-to-end HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking along with operational excellence, and have hands-on experience in handling workforce planning, employee relations, labour law compliance, and organizational development in a factory or industrial setup. Key Responsibilities: HR Business Partnering Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives. Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning to ensure alignment with company goals. Utilize HR metrics and analytics to provide HR insights to support workforce productivity, engagement, and retention. Organizational culture & Engagement Lead initiatives to promote a positive work environment and high engagement, including diversity and inclusion programs. Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and effective manner. .Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues, policies and processes ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning Administering talent by partnering with managers to identify talent gaps and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies. Lead hiring for plant and support functions including blue-collar, staff, and frontline roles. Coordinate with recruitment partners and ensure timely onboarding and induction. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law Ensure full compliance with labour laws and statutory obligations as well as compliance to all IMI policies and processes. Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with statutory bodies when required. Partner with the HSE teams to drive all people Health & Safety initiatives Performance & Talent Management Drive performance culture through effective performance management process. Administer the annual performance appraisal cycle, including goal-setting, mid-year and final evaluations. High potential identification and development. Lead succession planning by building succession talent pool across all levels. Lead learning and development initiatives and capability building across levels. Industrial Relations (where applicable) Maintain harmonious relations with white-collar and blue collar employees to avoid any unrest and to ensure optimal productivity. Liaison with government departments and authorities for compliance requirements as well as to maintain a healthy industrial relations environment. HR Operations & Systems Manage employee life cycle processes from induction to exit. Ensure the process flow is always maintained efficient Ensure data integrity and reliability of all HR systems. t. Compensation & Benefits management Collaborate with compensation teams to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures. Drive a performance linked rewards& recognition system consistently. Policy Implementation & HR Projects Implement competitive market HR policies and SOPs aligned to global policies & processes Lead or contribute to HR digitization, cost optimization, and employee welfare initiatives.
