Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer Location: Pune, Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore Mode of Work: Hybrid Experience: Minimum 7 years Position Overview We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright with Java to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through the design, development, and execution of automated and manual test strategies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts using Playwright with Java . Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, and design test plans. Execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyze results to ensure product quality. Identify, record, and track software defects; drive root cause analysis and resolution. Develop regression and performance testing suites to ensure product stability. Work closely with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, and DevOps) to deliver high-quality releases. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior QA team members. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing. Proven expertise in Playwright with Java for test automation (mandatory). Strong knowledge of test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems. Experience in functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).
