MES Support Consultant - Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences

Greetings from Themesoft! We’re looking for experienced MES Support Consultants-Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you’ll provide L2/L3 functional and technical support for enterprise-grade Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) , especially Werum PAS-X and FTPS , ensuring seamless operations in a highly regulated, high-impact environment. Location: Chennai, India Experience: 6–10 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 10 days joiners Schedule: Must be flexible to work in shifts (rotational or fixed, based on business needs) Key Responsibilities Application Support: Deliver expert L2/L3 support for MES systems like PAS-X and FTPS. Troubleshooting: Analyze logs, run SQL queries, and work through complex issues to keep manufacturing running. Incident & Problem Management: Resolve incidents and root causes as per ITIL standards. System Configuration: Execute routine updates, master data changes, and system health checks. Documentation: Maintain detailed support documentation and knowledge base entries. Stakeholder Communication: Interface with business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure smooth operations. Required Skills & Experience MES Expertise: 6–10 years supporting MES platforms (PAS-X, FTPS, or similar). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially Batch Execution, EBR , and Equipment Management . Technical Proficiency: Solid SQL skills for data analysis and debugging. Knowledge of system integrations (ERP, LIMS, etc.). Soft Skills & Process: Excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience in an ITIL-based support environment.
