BIM DESIGNER (REVIT-MEP)-Electrical

Job Title: BIM Modeler – Electrical (MEP)Location: ChennaiExperience: 3 to 10 YearsSoftware Proficiency: Revit MEP (Mandatory), Navisworks, AutoCADJob Summary:We are hiring a skilled and experienced Electrical BIM Modeler with strong expertise in RevitMEP to support our electrical design and modeling team. The candidate should have a strongunderstanding of electrical systems and be capable of delivering coordinated models anddetailed drawings.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain electrical BIM models including lighting, power, ELV, andcontainment systems using Revit MEP.• Generate detailed drawings (layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams) from the BIMmodel.• Coordinate with other trades (Mechanical, Plumbing, Architecture) to ensure clash-freedesign.• Use Navisworks for clash detection and issue resolution.• Follow project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and client specifications.• Support documentation, schedules, and material take-offs from the model.Required Skills and Qualifications:• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.• 3–10 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.• Expertise in Revit MEP and good understanding of electrical design concepts.• Familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD.• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and coordination practices.• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
