Creative Designer – Event & Exhibition Management

Job Title: Creative Designer – Event Management Location: (Chennai) Department: Events & Marketing Reporting to: Creative Head / Event Manager Job Overview We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Creative Designer to join our Event Management team. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and delivering innovative visual experiences for events, including corporate conferences, weddings, exhibitions, product launches, festivals, and social gatherings. The designer will work closely with the events and production team to bring creative ideas to life through branding, stage/backdrop designs, digital content, and marketing collaterals. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize and design event themes, stage setups, branding elements, décor concepts, and visual storytelling . Develop event collaterals : invitations, brochures, banners, standees, digital creatives, social media posts, and presentations. Create 3D event layouts, floor plans, and stage mock-ups to present to clients. Collaborate with event managers, production teams, and vendors to ensure designs are practical, on-brand, and executable within budgets. Work on digital and print media ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. Stay updated with design trends, event aesthetics, and emerging technologies (AR/VR, projection mapping, etc.) to enhance event creativity. Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Requirements Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Event Design, or related field . 2–5 years of experience in event management creative design or similar roles. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), CorelDRAW, 3D Max/SketchUp, or similar tools . Strong portfolio showcasing event branding, stage design, and creative collaterals . Ability to understand client briefs, think conceptually, and convert ideas into visually appealing designs. Excellent time management, teamwork, and communication skills. Passion for design, innovation, and events. Nice-to-Have Skills Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, and animation .
