Junior Interior Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead and manage design projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors. Key Responsibilities: • Design Development: Create innovative design concepts that meet client needs and reflect current trends. • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders. • Client Consultation: Conduct client meetings to discuss design ideas, preferences, and project requirements. Maintain ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle. • Space Planning : Develop functional and aesthetic space plans that optimize layout and enhance user experience. • Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the design vision and budget. • Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit). • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process. • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers, fostering their professional growth and development. • Trend Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design solutions to inspire and inform project work. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field. • 2+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite). • Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • A portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects and styles. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in project management software. • Knowledge of 3D rendering and visualization tools. Work Environment: The position may require occasional travel to project sites. Flexibility in hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines
