Associate ISO Auditor

Job Summary/ObjectiveConducts analysis and internal audits of basic complexity, against one or more compliance standards (including ISO27001, DPDPA, GDPR and relevant privacy laws). Helps with scheduling and completing activities related to internal risk assessments.Key Responsibilities & Duties (essential to the job)Assists the Lead Auditor in delivering the planned internal audit schedule, in a timely manner. Ensures staff are aware of, and remain engaged with the internal audit process, including finding resolutions. Assists with maintaining the management system, including annual policy reviews, procedure enhancements, overall process controls, and metrics gathering. Evangelizes compliance and seeks improvements to the management system. Assists the Risk and Compliance team with completing special assignments, as needed.EducationA bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required, with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, equivalent work experience directly related to the key responsibilities of the role will be considered as a substitute for the degree.Experience, Skills and Key CompetenciesPrior auditing experience is required; however, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities: Ability to solve problems and identify sustainable solutions. Strong written and verbal correspondence skills and can effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Basic understanding of ISO 27001:2022. A heightened overall analytical aptitude to apply security principles to all aspects of work. A curious mindset. Good interpersonal skills and can work cooperatively with others. Strong organizational skills and can complete routine tasks with accuracy and within deadlines.Special Position RequirementsMust be able to read, write, understand, and speak fluent English. Can adjust work hours as needed, to meet company requirements around auditing global OEC offices.
