Plant Accountant

Job Title: Plant Accountant / Site Accountant Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Chandrapur Reporting To: Head – Finance / Plant Head Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Payroll interface). Maintain site accounts and invoices. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, etc.). Monitor cost accounting, production variances, and inventory valuation. Coordinate monthly and year-end closing, reconciliations, and audit schedules. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations. Liaise with statutory and internal auditors, and government authorities. Partner with plant management to improve working capital and cost efficiency. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: - Commerce / MBA (Finance) . 7 years of experience in plant/manufacturing accounting. Strong knowledge of statutory compliances and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred). Hands-on experience in cost accounting and inventory management .
