Job Description – SH Accounts / Finance & AccountsThe ideal candidate for this position should have strong knowledge and technical depth in costing, budgeting, MIS, CAPEX, taxation, and financial governance. The role requires close coordination with multiple stakeholders across functions to ensure effective financial control, accurate reporting, statutory compliance, and timely business insights. The candidate will play a key role in financial decision-making, cost optimization, audit compliance, and management reporting.ResponsibilitiesLead costing, budgeting, MIS, CAPEX, taxation, and financial control activities.Analyze business performance against budgets and forecasts and present variance analysis with corrective actions.Prepare and review daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly MIS reports including cost sheets, PMS flash, and TM1 reporting.Drive cost optimization and productivity improvement initiatives across operations.Ensure accurate inventory valuation, GRIR reconciliation, liability review, and advance monitoring.Manage the complete CAPEX lifecycle including proposal evaluation, viability/payback analysis, capitalization, and WBS monitoring.Monitor CAPEX MIS, time and cost overruns, WBS locking, and utilization of unused project inventory.Oversee asset accounting including verification, tagging, disposal, and compliance with asset plans.Ensure statutory compliance related to GST, excise/VAT matters, incentive applications, RPO returns, and regulatory filings.Coordinate internal, statutory, cost, and GST audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.Manage insurance renewals, claims, shared service coordination, TB/GL scrutiny, and ad-hoc business reporting.QualificationsChartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / equivalent professional qualification.Strong knowledge of costing, budgeting, MIS, CAPEX, taxation, audits, and statutory compliance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Knowledge of SAP/TM1 or similar reporting systems will be preferred.Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities.Strong leadership skills with ability to drive governance, compliance, and process improvements.
