The company’s core expertise spans large-scale UAV swarms, AI-enabled autonomous coordination, and persistent unmanned systems, all validated through rigorous operational deployment in real-world conflict environments.Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Composite Technician to support the manufacturing of UAV fixed-wing composite airframes. The role involves composite layup, mould preparation, vacuum bagging, and structural integration of airframe parts. The ideal candidate must deliver high-quality workmanship, follow technical instructions, and ensure consistent production of composite parts as per aerospace standards.Responsibilities:Perform complete composite airframe layup using carbon fiber, fiberglass, and kevlar fabrics as per engineering requirements.Prepare moulds by cleaning, waxing, and applying release agents to ensure defect-free parts.Cut composite fabrics accurately using templates and maintain material optimization.Conduct vacuum bagging, sealing, leak testing, and resin application with precision.Place and align internal structures such as ribs, spars, reinforcements, and hardpoints.Execute safe and careful demoulding of composite parts without damage.Maintain quality control throughout the process, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to SOPs.Coordinate with engineers and supervisors on production schedules and part requirements.Train and guide helper workers during layup, vacuum bagging, and part preparation.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of composite tools, consumables, and materials.Follow safety practices related to chemical handling, PPE, and equipment usage.Support additional workshop tasks as required to meet production timelines.Experience/Skills:Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a field operations or logisticsPrevious experience in composite manufacturing, preferably in aerospace, UAV, automotive, or marine sectors.Strong understanding of carbon fiber layup, fabric orientation, resin systems, curing cycles, and vacuum processes.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, templates, and SOP instructions.Skilled in handling hand tools and workshop equipment (cutters, rollers, vacuum pumps, heat guns, etc.).Attention to detail, high-quality workmanship, and ability to meet tight tolerances.Positive attitude with willingness to work in a structured production environment.Ability to guide helper workers and maintain team coordination.Previous experience in defence/aerospace projects will be preferred.Basic QualificationsDiploma or equivalent technical education in mechanical, aeronautical, or composite-related fields.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in composite component manufacturing.Team skillsGood verbal and Written communication skillsTeamwork.Leadership.Adaptability.Critical thinking.
