We are looking to hire a Quality Engineering Lead who can help us with the design, development, and implementation of our digital products and services. The Quality Engineering Lead is accountable for test strategy, resource planning, and the  delivery of quality assurance across projects and client engagements. As both a hands-on  practitioner and team leader, the QE Lead shapes quality engineering standards, manages  and mentors testers, and works with clients and internal teams to ensure QA activities are  embedded across the software development lifecycle. This role bridges technical  leadership with people management and contributes to building the Company's QE capability. Location: Chandigarh, India   Engagement: Permanent – Full time  Responsibilities and Requirements: Test Strategy and Oversight:  Define and own the test strategy across multiple client engagements and  technology stacks, aligning with delivery architecture and business goals.  Set quality standards, templates, and best practices across test planning,  execution, and reporting.  Collaborate with solution architects and delivery managers to assess risk and  ensure test strategies support delivery timelines and functional integrity. Team Leadership and Resource Management:  Manage the QE team including task allocation, performance coaching, mentoring,  and supporting career development.  Lead resource forecasting and allocation across projects based on scope, risk, and  capacity.  Build a high-performance culture that promotes quality accountability, shared  learning, and proactive delivery support.   Test Automation and Delivery Enablement:  Drive the design and implementation of test automation frameworks, tools, and  integration with CI/CD workflows.  Review and approve automation designs and strategies proposed by team  members.  Ensure non-functional testing (e.g. performance, resilience) is factored into delivery  roadmaps. Client and Stakeholder Engagement:  Represent the QE practice in client-facing activities, including test strategy  presentations, delivery meetings, and status reviews.  Translate complex testing challenges into clear, value-based solutions for technical  and business stakeholders.  Contribute to scoping, estimation, and delivery planning activities.  Practice Development and Governance:  Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including tooling upgrades, QA  dashboards, and reusable test assets.  Support recruitment, onboarding, and knowledge sharing within the QA function.  Contribute to internal QA capability building, including training content, templates,  and best practice playbooks.  Qualifications and Experience:  Technical Skills:  Deep knowledge of QA strategy, test lifecycle management, and Agile/DevOps  integration.  Experience architecting automation solutions and selecting appropriate test tools.  Solid understanding of cloud-native testing, containerisation, mocking, and test  environment management.  Experience:  6+ years in QA roles, including 2+ years in a leadership or test manager capacity.  Proven ability to manage test teams, deliver quality outcomes, and engage with  clients at multiple levels.  Soft Skills:  Strong leadership presence, with the ability to inspire and guide high-performing  teams. Excellent written and verbal communication tailored to clients, peers, and technical  audiences.  Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to quality assurance.
