Designation: Planning & Strategy Head About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Planning & Strategy Head to lead integrated campaign planning and strategic direction for a large-scale political marketing initiative. This role sits at the intersection of political insight, communication strategy, and execution oversight - requiring both sharp analytical skills and a deep understanding of Punjab’s socio-political realities. The ideal candidate will be able to translate voter sentiment and party objectives into powerful, multi-channel campaign plans that deliver mass connectivity, influence public perception, and strengthen the party’s positioning. Years of experience required: 5+ years Type: Work from Office (Mohali/Chandigarh) Language & Cultural Requirement: The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of the Punjabi language, culture, political nuances, and regional voter behaviour. Proficiency in Hindi and English is also essential for working across diverse teams and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Political Campaign Planning & Strategy Lead integrated planning efforts across all campaign arms - digital, social media, traditional media, grassroots events, and influencer outreach. Translate central political objectives into regionally relevant, actionable campaign strategies. Create high-impact, culturally resonant narratives that connect with Punjabi voters across demographics. Research-Driven Strategic Direction Oversee primary and secondary research on socio-political, economic, and cultural factors to inform planning. Analyse past election data, voter sentiment, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges. Use listening tools, field feedback, and media monitoring to shape real-time adjustments in strategy. Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment Build strong relationships with party leadership, MLAs, community leaders, influencers, and booth-level workers. Act as a bridge between central campaign strategy and local execution teams. Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on objectives, timelines, and messaging priorities. Campaign Integration & Execution Oversight Develop strategies that seamlessly integrate on-ground political activities with digital amplification. Ensure smooth coordination between creative, media, event, and field teams for timely execution. Oversee campaign launches, ensuring they are well-timed, culturally relevant, and media-optimised. Measurement, Tracking & Optimisation Define campaign KPIs - awareness, reach, sentiment shift, engagement - and establish measurement methodologies. Monitor campaign performance, prepare impact reports, and recommend mid-course corrections. Present regular updates to senior leadership on key metrics, voter insights, and campaign health. Innovation & Product Development Propose new planning approaches and campaign formats that break through media clutter. Leverage emerging digital platforms and technologies for political outreach. Drive integration of storytelling, data, and technology in campaign strategies. Client & Leadership Communication Present quarterly and annual political marketing plans to party leadership. Recommend budget allocations and resource planning for maximum efficiency. Highlight key voter trends, regional developments, and media opportunities in leadership updates.
