The role requires strong expertise in healthcare auditing, SOP development, team leadership, and compliance management. The position involves setting up standardized audit systems, hiring and mentoring auditors, ensuring regulatory compliance, identifying risks, and reporting audit findings to senior management.Key Responsibilities Audit Strategy & SOP Development Develop, implement, and updateStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)for audits in hospitals and clinics Pan India. Establish audit frameworks, checklists, and reporting standards aligned with healthcare regulations. Define audit processes to ensure consistency and transparency across locations.Internal Audit Management Lead and manage internal audits for hospitals and clinics Pan India. Plan and conductfinancial, operational, and compliance audits. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and healthcare standards.Team Hiring & Performance Management Lead the hiring of auditors Pan India. Prepare and defineSOPs, KRAs, and KPIsfor newly hired auditors. Train, guide, and monitor audit teams to ensure audit quality and effectiveness.Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards (NABH, etc.). Identify risk areas, control gaps, and process inefficiencies. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks.Reporting & Follow-ups Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management. Track audit observations and ensure timely closure of identified gaps. Monitor implementation of corrective actions across locations.Coordination & External Audits Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities. Support statutory and accreditation audits as required. Act as a key liaison between management and auditors.Key Requirements Experience Minimum 7–12 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in healthcare (hospitals/clinics). Proven experience in leading Pan India audit operations. Experience with NABH or healthcare compliance audits is mandatory.Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent analytical and risk assessment abilities In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and audit standards Strong report writing and presentation skills Ability to travel extensively Pan India High level of integrity and attention to detailEducational Qualification CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / or equivalent qualification Healthcare audit certification or NABH auditor certification preferredCompensation & Benefits Salary: Negotiable based on experience and interview performance Travel allowances as per company policy Additional benefits as per company norms
