The company is entering a phase of structured growth that demands a mature and proactive HR function. The Manager – Human Resources will be the first dedicated HR leader at the Pune plant. This is a greenfield opportunity to design and institutionalise HR practices from the ground up — covering workforce planning, compliance, payroll, discipline, engagement, and talent development — in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires someone who is equally comfortable on the shopfloor as they are at a desk, and who understands that people management in manufacturing is a distinct discipline. Location :- Chakan, Pune, MaharashtraManufacturing :- General Manager – Operations Department :- Human Resources Employment Type :- Full-Time, Permanent Experience Required :- 8–10 years (min. 4 years in a plant / manufacturing HR role) Industry :- Manufacturing - Auto Components, Truck Body, Fabrication, or Adjacent KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :-1. HR Operations & Workforce Administration 2. Statutory Compliance & Labour Law 3. Talent Acquisition 4. Discipline Management & Workforce Conduct5. Training & Development6. Employee Engagement & Retention 7. Performance Management 8. Reporting & HR Analytics QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Essential: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, or MSW (Master of Social Work) with HR specialization, or equivalent post-graduate qualification. 8–10 years of total HR experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a plant-based or manufacturing HR role. Strong working knowledge of Indian labour law: Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, and Maharashtra Shops & Establishments Act.Hands-on experience managing a blue-collar workforce of 200+ employees in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Experience independently managing payroll processing, statutory returns, and compliance audits. Proven ability to handle disciplinary proceedings, domestic enquiries, and grievance management. Preferred:Experience in the auto components, truck body, fabrication, or heavy engineering sector in the Pune / Chakan / Pimpri-Chinchwad industrial belt. Familiarity with OEM vendor audit requirements and HR documentation standards expected by Tier-1 OEMs.Working knowledge of HRMS platforms (We use Qandle and ERP Next).Experience setting up HR systems from scratch in a growing manufacturing company is a strong advantage.
