People Operations and Recruitment Lead (Agriculture/Manufacturing)

Vaishnavi Agronext LLP is a producer of white button mushrooms with a production capacity of 5 tonnes/day. Our goal is to grow the highest quality mushrooms with relentless focus on efficiency.About the roleAs the People Lead (Operations and Recruitment), you will be responsible to find, screen, and bring in the right talent for the roles on the team. This is a hands-on, on-ground role. You will be expected to spend time in actual work areas, understand real requirements, and take full ownership of hiring outcomes.ResponsibilitiesPost jobs and source candidatesWork with the team to understand role requirements clearlyShortlist and screen candidates based on role requirementsSchedule and coordinate interviewsRun recruitment across all levels: labour, staff, supervisors and managersRun recruitment across departments: harvesting, packing, maintenance, growing etc.Ensure open positions are filled quickly with the right peopleBuild a candidate pipeline for current and future needsObserve teams on the ground to understand real people and performance issuesTake ownership of people problems on the floor and help resolve themSupport supervisors in addressing attendance, discipline, behavioural and performance issuesWork with leadership to improve retention and reduce avoidable turnoverObserve teams on the ground to understand real performance gapsFlag low performers and strong potential within current staffSupport leadership by tracking simple performance indicatorsRequirementsA minimum of 4 years of experience in talent acquisition and people operations.Someone who is extremely hands-on and results orientedComfortable with blue-collar and white-collar hiringNot afraid of physical work environments (farm, production, warehouse, etc.)Someone who is a quick learner and can figure things outExperience in manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, dairy, poultry, logistics, warehousing, or similar on-ground industries is preferred.Plant HR, HR Lead, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, People Lead, HR Executive
