Tata Electronics is committed to creating a socioeconomic footprint by employing many women in its workforce and actively supporting local communities through initiatives in environment, education, healthcare, sports and livelihood.Role Summary:He / She as a Cybersecurity lead will be responsible for driving the implementation and management of cybersecurity strategies across IT and OT environments. This role ensures protection of critical assets, compliance with security standards, and resilience against evolving cyber threats. The position involves leadership in risk management, incident response, and security architecture for enterprise and plant operations.Key Responsibilities:Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures. - Align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements. - Support ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other frameworks for compliance.Risk Management- Conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments and vulnerability management. - Define mitigation plans for IT and OT systems, including production networks. - Ensure secure design for new projects and technology deployments.Security Operations- Oversee SOC activities, threat detection, and incident response. - Manage SIEM, endpoint security, and network defense tools. - Coordinate forensic investigations and root cause analysis for incidents.OT & Plant Security- Implement security controls for ICS/SCADA systems. - Ensure network segmentation and secure remote access for plant operations. - Collaborate with engineering teams for patching and hardening OT assets.Identity & Access Management- Enforce least privilege principles and periodic access reviews. - Manage privileged access for critical systems.Awareness & Training- Conduct cybersecurity awareness programs for employees and contractors. - Promote secure practices across IT and OT environments.Vendor & Third-Party Risk- Assess and monitor security posture of vendors and partners. - Ensure compliance with contractual security obligations.Reporting & Metrics- Track and report cybersecurity KPIs to leadership. - Prepare dashboards for risk posture and incident trends.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. - 8+-15 years of experience in Cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in OT/plant environment.Strong knowledge of:- Network security, endpoint protection, cloud security. - ICS/SCADA and OT security principles. - Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, IEC 62443.Hands-on experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred Certifications- CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor. - GICSP or ISA/IEC 62443 for OT security.Key Competencies- Strategic thinking and leadership. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-functional teams.
