Location: BangaloreReports To: Managing Director / Executive DirectorThe SOGO Group of Companies—spanning IT hardware, SaaS, rentals, e-waste & battery waste management, refurbished devices, and emerging IT services—is looking for a highly driven and strategic Group HR Manager to lead our people function across all business verticals.This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on solving complex people challenges, scaling teams, shaping culture, and driving transformation within a fast-growing, multi-business organisation.Position OverviewAs the Group HR Manager, you will be the architect of SOGO’s people strategy—aligning talent with business outcomes, strengthening a culture rooted in trust and accountability, and building the systems, processes, and capabilities needed for our next phase of growth.You’ll work closely with leadership to elevate talent quality, improve productivity, and ensure people and performance move in one direction: forward.Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding- Build and execute hiring strategies aligned with business and expansion plans. - Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and assimilation processes. - Strengthen SOGO’s employer brand to attract high-quality industry talent.2. Employee Relations & Workplace Culture- Act as a trusted, impartial mediator between employees and management. - Uphold a zero-tolerance framework for discrimination, misconduct, and harassment. - Implement engagement, communication, and grievance-redressal mechanisms that foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace.3. HR Policy, Governance & Compliance- Draft, implement, and maintain HR policies across all entities. - Ensure end-to-end compliance with labour laws, audits, and statutory requirements. - Maintain precise and audit-ready documentation and HR records.4. Workforce Planning & Succession Development- Partner with leadership to forecast manpower needs and build succession pipelines. - Use HR analytics to monitor performance, attrition, and engagement indicators. - Support the group’s expansion into IT services and new business lines through structured workforce strategies.5. Learning, Development & Performance- Establish a scalable Learning & Development (L&D) framework across divisions. - Drive a performance culture through KPIs, coaching, and structured feedback. - Link performance outcomes to career growth, upskilling, and internal mobility.6. Engagement & Retention- Design and implement engagement initiatives to enhance morale and collaboration. - Conduct regular engagement surveys and translate insights into action. - Lead recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and leadership development journeys.7. HR Operations & Systems- Oversee payroll, attendance, and HRIS with accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness. - Drive process automation and digitization for operational efficiency. - Use data-driven insights to elevate decision-making and streamline HR operations.8.
