PROCESS ENGINEERING MANAGER (Karnataka, India)o Industry: Appliances, Electrical & Electronics Manufacturingo Location: Karnataka, India (Candidate based outside India can also apply)o Employment: Full TimeOur client is seeking a Process Engineering Manager with experience within a technical and/orproduction environment with deep knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes (like SMT and wave soldering), and quality standards (like IPC A610).Our client is a leading high-end IC substrates and printed circuit boards Manufacturer in India. Develops and produces leading-edge interconnect technologies for key digital industries: mobile devices, automotive & aerospace, industrial, medical and high-performance computing for AI applications.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Process Engineering Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:- A senior leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the PCB manufacturing process & lead a team of engineers to ensure high quality, efficient, and cost effective production. - Crucial in bridging engineering, production, and quality assurance to produce high quality products through equipment, process controls and continuous improvement. - Ensure all manufacturing processes and documentation are compliant with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001). - Analyze production data using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to drive process improvements. - Ensures that structured problem solving techniques are used, and that adequate validation is performed for any issues being address or changes being made. - Implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address the root causes of process deviations and quality issues. - Conduct equipment and material evaluations for new process applications. - Create and maintain all process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and control plans.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field, Masters will be a Plus. - Technical expertise: 10+ years of experience within a technical and/or production environment with deep knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes (like SMT and wave soldering), and quality standards (like IPC A610). - Management skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage projects, and communicate with cross functional teams and senior leadership. - Analytical skills: Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE, Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and other data driven problem solving methods.Please Note:-*We are accepting applications from the candidates based outside India as well.*PCB Manufacturing experience is a must.
