Commissioning Engineer

Job Title: VentoMatic Packing SpecialistLocation: CubaDuration: 6+ Months Project AssignmentAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced PLC Control Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in VentoMatic packing systems for a major industrial project in Cuba. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation, electrical & instrumentation systems, and commissioning activities within cement plants or similar heavy industrial environments.Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of VentoMatic packing machines and related control systems. - Configure, program, and optimize PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / equivalent) supporting packing line operations. - Perform calibration, loop checks, functional tests, and system integration for the packing plant automation. - Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical, instrumentation, and control components of VentoMatic equipment. - Interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, logic diagrams, and OEM technical documentation. - Ensure compliance with safety standards, project requirements, and manufacturer specifications. - Work closely with site teams, OEM specialists, and operations personnel during commissioning and start-up. - Prepare detailed commissioning reports, documentation, and system handover packages. - Provide on-site support, technical guidance, and user training as required.Required Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field (mandatory). - Minimum 5+ years of experience in PLC-based control systems, automation, and commissioning. - Hands-on experience with VentoMatic packing machines is mandatory. - Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Siemens preferred). - Proven background in cement plants or similar industrial process environments. - Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently in multicultural project settings. - Excellent communication and documentation skills.Project Details- Location: On-site in Cuba - Project Duration: 6 months (extendable based on requirements) - Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possibleWhy Join Us?- Opportunity to work with advanced VentoMatic packing system automation in an international industrial project. - Multicultural and collaborative project environment. - Competitive project-based compensation.How to ApplyInterested candidates who meet the above criteria are encouraged to share their CV with [insert email/contact details] or apply directly via LinkedIn.
