Job descriptionRole & responsibilities- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. - Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs. - Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations. - Cost Controlling of the project. - Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors. - Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory. - Meet contractual conditions of performance. - Review the work progress on daily basis. - Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status. - Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones. - Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licences. - Analyse, manage and mitigate risks. - Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. - Negotiating contracts with vendors, including prices and terms of payment. - Monitoring project performance and ensuring that the project is completed according to the agreed upon schedule and within budget guidelines. - Managing all aspects of the project, such as selecting contractors, obtaining permits, and ensuring compliance with regulations. - Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure compliance with building codes. - Scheduling work crews, ordering materials, and tracking progress on a daily basis. - Managing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients throughout the life of the project. - Working with clients to determine their needs, designing custom solutions, and estimating costs. - Reviewing engineering plans and conducting inspections during construction to ensure compliance with building codes and specifications. - Communicating regularly with clients on project status and providing updates on any changes to the timeline or plan. - Effective utilisation of the resources. - Technical Knowledge upon the Solar Plant Equipment. - Preparation of Lessons Learnt after Completion of the Project.Preferred candidate profile- B.Tech/M.Tech in electrical engineering FULL TIME IS MUST. - 14+ years of total experience, including 7 years managing solar construction. - A track record of effectively managing complex construction projects with numerous stakeholders. - Should have experience managing 100 MW SOLAR PROJECT, complex, large-scale power plant and/or photovoltaic generation projects from planning to construction to commissioning.
