Job Description Position Title:  Asst Manager – Asset Operations (for GE Turbines)Location: Bhuj, GujaratReports to:  Head – Asset Operations Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager with expertise in GE wind turbines  to oversee the performance, reliability, and commercial optimization of our wind portfolio. The role involves managing vendor relationships, monitoring day-to-day site operations, troubleshooting performance issues, ensuring compliance with testing/maintenance protocols, and maximizing revenue generation from assets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Asset Operations Coordination Act as the primary liaison with O&M contractors and external asset managers. Monitor daily site operations and turbine performance. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed as per schedule. Support in troubleshooting major technical issues by guiding vendors/teams. Verify timely execution of statutory and contractual tests (availability, performance guarantees, etc.). 2. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Continuously track operational KPIs such as availability, capacity factor, and generation. Identify underperformance trends and recommend corrective actions to vendors/teams. Drive initiatives for improving the efficiency and reliability of turbines. 3. Commercial & Financial Management Monitor PPA market performance and explore opportunities to maximize revenues. Support revenue optimization strategies, including forecasting, scheduling, and deviation management. Track and report on financial KPIs such as revenue realization, penalties, and curtailments. 4. Data Analytics & Reporting Conduct an in-depth analysis of turbine and site-level performance data. Prepare performance dashboards, MIS reports, and management presentations. Utilize SCADA and other monitoring tools to identify technical and financial improvement areas. 5. Compliance & Stakeholder Management Ensure regulatory, contractual, and HSE compliance across sites. Act as a key point of contact between corporate teams, site teams, and external stakeholders. Participate in audits, inspections, and periodic reviews. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. 5–12 years of experience in wind asset management, preferably with an IPP or OEM. Strong hands-on exposure to GE wind turbines  (operation, performance, troubleshooting). Proficiency in SCADA, CMMS, and asset monitoring tools. Strong understanding of turbine technology, performance KPIs, and reliability engineering. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving ability. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to provide guidance and recommendations without direct execution. Key KPIs: Improvement in turbine availability and performance ratios. Reduction in downtime and faster issue resolution. Enhanced revenue realization and cost optimization. Accurate and timely reporting to management.
