Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales organization in Mumbai. This role is responsible for developing high-level sales strategies to capitalize on India’s rising steel demand, managing key corporate and institutional accounts, and driving revenue growth across domestic and regional markets. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the steel sector (TMT, Hot Rolled, or Stainless Steel) and a proven track record of scaling sales operations.2. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth targets and current 2025 market dynamics, such as shifting import/export trends and new safeguard duties. Revenue & Growth: Set and achieve ambitious annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets. Monitor top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability while managing the sales pipeline. Key Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with major developers, infrastructure firms, contractors, and industrial OEMs. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a multi-tier sales team (Regional Managers, Executives). Implement performance management systems, huddles, and regular training. Market Intelligence: Conduct deep market research to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor pricing and activities in the Mumbai and Greater Maharashtra regions. Operations & Collaboration: Optimize sales processes using CRM tools and collaborate with production, finance, and logistics departments to ensure timely material sourcing and delivery. Financial Oversight: Manage pricing and credit policies, oversee payment collections, and ensure compliance with company financial guidelines.3. Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering. An MBA/PGDM in Marketing from a recognized institute is highly preferred. Experience: Minimum 10–12+ years in B2B/Industrial sales, specifically within the steel or allied metal manufacturing industries. Local Expertise: Strong network within the construction and infrastructure sectors in Mumbai and the Delhi NCR region is a plus. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of steel grades (TMT, HRC, CRC, Stainless), manufacturing processes, and technical specifications. Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills in English and local languages. Tool Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho), MS Excel, and SAP for order management.4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Achievement of regional and company-wide revenue targets. Market share expansion within the Mumbai industrial and infrastructure sectors. New customer acquisition and retention rates. Effective management of sales cycle time and collection of outstanding payments.Location - Charni Road
