Production Designer

Job Description – Production Designer Company: R-ANGLE INNOVATIONS PVT LTD Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha ⸻ Position Overview R-ANGLE INNOVATIONS is seeking a talented Production Designer to bridge the gap between design and manufacturing for our modular kitchens, wardrobes, doors, and turnkey interior projects. The role demands strong technical design knowledge, hands-on experience with CNC/Nesting workflows, and the ability to convert client-approved designs into factory-ready production drawings. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Develop and prepare detailed 2D/3D production drawings for modular furniture and interiors. • Coordinate with design, estimation, and production teams to finalize BOM, MRS (Material Requirement Sheet), and HRS (Hardware Requirement Sheet). • Optimize designs for CNC routing & nesting machines to ensure precision and material efficiency. • Maintain design standards, material specifications, and quality benchmarks. • Collaborate with site engineers and supervisors for installation feasibility. • Ensure design approvals are aligned with client expectations and factory output. • Regularly update production documentation in Dzylo and TranZact systems. ⸻ Skills & Requirements • Diploma/Degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Mechanical Drafting. • 2–4 years of experience as a Production Designer in modular/interiors industry. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and CAM software (for CNC-ready files). • Strong understanding of modular furniture materials: HDHMR, MDF, WPC, plywood, laminates, acrylic, etc. • Knowledge of modular joinery systems and hardware (Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, etc.). • Attention to detail with ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. ⸻ Preferred Qualities • Previous experience with factory-finish modular furniture manufacturing. • Strong problem-solving skills with practical on-site execution knowledge. • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (designers, engineers, clients). ⸻ Compensation • Competitive salary based on experience. • Performance-based incentives. • Career growth in a rapidly scaling modular interiors brand.
