Job description Finance Executive 0–2 years experienceLocation: Kalyan Nagar, Banaswadi, Bengaluru Employment type: Full-time Reporting to: Finance Manager / Head of FinanceRole summaryEntry-level finance professional responsible for day-to-day accounting and finance operations, basic financial reporting, and supporting month-end close. Ideal for a candidate with 0–2 years of exposure to accounting/bookkeeping, comfortable with numbers, Excel and routine financial systems, and keen to grow into a full-stack finance role.Key responsibilities Record and post daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) in the accounting system. Reconcile bank statements and assist with bank-related queries. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable: invoice processing, vendor follow-ups, and customer collections support. Prepare and maintain petty cash and expense reports; process employee reimbursements. Support month-end close tasks: journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and basic ledger maintenance. Prepare routine financial reports: trial balance, age-wise receivables/payables, simple P&L and balance sheet schedules for review. Assist with tax compliance documentation (GST/VAT/sales tax inputs, TDS details) and coordinate with tax/consulting teams. Maintain fixed asset register and assist with depreciation schedules. Support audits by preparing schedules and answering basic queries. Help improve/process documentation and participate in small process-improvement projects. Ad hoc analysis and data pulls for business teams and management as requested.Required qualifications & skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (, BBA, or equivalent). 0–2 years’ work experience in accounting, finance operations, or internship experience in a finance team. Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas). Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Xero, SAP FICO, or any ERP) — at least one. Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/Ind AS/local standards) and common taxes (GST/TDS or local equivalents). Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
