Dispatch Executive (Night Shift)

Job Title: Dispatch Executive Department: Distribution Reports To: Distribution Manager Location: (Bhiwandi Plant) Shift : Night only Working : 6 days working (weekly off on rotation basis) Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-focused NIGHT Dispatch Executive to manage daily operations which includes dispatch planning, publication handling, vendor coordination, and reporting. This role demands hands-on involvement in material readiness, dispatch accuracy, innovation implementation, and field audits to ensure quality and timely delivery of our publications. Key Responsibilities: Generate dispatch slips, applying necessary changes, and prepare all publication-wise pre-dispatch material. Ensure timely and error-free night dispatches across locations. Supervise and coordinate jobs related activities like separations, counting, packaging, loading / unloading, and delivery of publications. Oversee innovations like online sticking / insertions for publications, including counting, bundling, packing, and transportation. Conduct random counts of standard bundles / parcels to handle shortage complaints Perform cross-checks of vehicle documentation for audit purpose. Random visit drop points to verify exact delivery schedules, vendor / depot holder availability, vehicle routes, and distances (KM tracking). Handle operational complaints and queries raised by concerned departments. Count and report unsold copies for the Mumbai market during scrap collection process. Count and report unsold copies (master head cuttings) for the upcountry market for further processing unsold credit notes. Visit Government authorities Like, Railway, Post (as & when required). Maintain and update dispatch records in Excel and internal systems. Required Skills & Qualifications: Graduate degree in any field (Logistics, Print Media, or Operations preferred). 2–3 years of experience in dispatch / logistics or publication distribution operations. Good command over MS Excel and familiarity with dispatch tracking systems. Strong communication and vendor management skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work flexible hours (including late shifts). Willingness to travel locally to drop points or vendor sites.
