Job Title: Development Engineer – Comfort Electronics (Tailgate Motor & Sensors)Location: Chakan, PuneJob Summary: Responsible for defining specifications, developing, and validating tailgate motors, sensors, and comfort systems to ensure functionality, quality, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Define system and component specifications for tailgate motor and sensor systemsDevelop and validate components through testing and development trialsManage engineering releases and technical documentationCoordinate with suppliers for technical clarifications and development progressTrack part development and provide regular project updatesSupport ramp-up activities and ensure readiness for productionEnsure compliance with internal standards and type approval requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines, cost, and quality targetsDesired Skills:Experience in automotive electronics, body/comfort systems, or mechatronicsKnowledge of tailgate systems, motors, sensors, or closure systems preferredUnderstanding of validation, documentation, and product development processesStrong coordination and communication skills
