Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor

Creative & Design Responsibilities - Conceptualise and produce product-centric motion graphics videos for e-commerce and q-commerce platforms. - Create high-impact explainer videos, product demos, social media reels, and performance ads that clearly communicate brand and product USPs. - Develop engaging character animations to enhance storytelling and brand recall. - Leverage AI video tools and workflows to enhance speed, creativity, and production efficiency. - Collaborate closely with the Creative Head, Scriptwriter, and Producer to craft compelling visual narratives. - Develop detailed storyboards and moodboards for animated content. - Maintain consistent brand design language across all video assets. - Continuously improve video performance through creative experimentation, AI-assisted production, and innovation. - Execute professional colour grading in DaVinci Resolve to enhance visual appeal and maintain brand tonality. Technical Execution - Animate and edit using After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools. - Use AI-powered video tools (such as generative video, AI voice, background removal, motion enhancement, etc.) to streamline production and elevate output quality. - Deliver videos in platform-optimised formats square (1:1), vertical (9:16), and landscape (16:9) for ads, PDPs, A+ content, and social platforms. - Manage and maintain motion templates, brand assets, animation libraries, and reusable design systems. - Oversee editing, sound design, AI-assisted enhancements, and post-production workflows to ensure top-tier quality. - Stay ahead of trends in motion graphics, AI video innovation, character animation, and eCommerce video storytelling. What You'll Bring - 2+ years of experience in motion design or video production. - A strong portfolio showcasing animation, character work, storytelling, and brand-driven design. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop). - Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for colour grading. - Practical experience with AI video tools and emerging generative technologies. - Strong understanding of timing, visual rhythm, composition, colour theory, and sound design. - Degree in Design preferred (formal training preferred over self-taught background).
