AI & Data Technical Lead - Innovation Hub

We are seeking a Data & AI Lead for a small Innovation Hub to deliver proofs of concept (PoCs) and reusable assets, for various usecases withn Financial Services, with a focus on GRC domains (AML, Financial Crime, Risk & Compliance).Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of Data & AI PoCs and innovation prototypesBuild reusable technical assets, accelerators, and reference architecturesDesign governed semantic and logical data layersImplement data virtualization and federated data access patternsApply DataOps and MLOps practices for repeatable PoC deliveryDesign cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP (based on client needs)Shape GenAI / LLM PoCs (RAG, knowledge retrieval, case summarization, data discovery)Develop domain-aligned data models for AML, Risk, and ComplianceWork with businesses to identify high-impact use cases, Translate business problems into data-driven or AI solutions and run ideation workshops and innovation programsMentor and lead a small engineering team (2–5 members)Present PoC outcomes to business, IT, and compliance stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience8 years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or AI/Data SolutioningStrong experience in:Data architecture & data modelingData integration & distributed data systemsData virtualization & semantic layer designSQL + PythonPractical experience in DataOps and/or MLOps practicesExperience in Agentic AI systems, architectures, frameworks etc…Experience in AI governance evaluation frameworks and Responsible AIExperience in leading POCs, rapid prototyping, running experimentationExperience building modular, API-driven, reusable componentsLeading innovation programs, workshops, hackathons and accelerate programs.
