Job Description: Salesforce Data Cloud Lead Location:Remote (India) Job Type:Freelance / Contract - 6 monthsAbout the Role We are looking for an experiencedSalesforce Data Cloud Leadwith 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce expertise to spearhead our Data Cloud initiatives. This role requires deep knowledge ofSalesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform) , along with proven leadership skills to guide technical teams, design scalable architectures, and enable enterprise-wide data-driven transformations.As a Salesforce Data Cloud Lead, you will be responsible for driving strategy, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities to unlock customer insights, enable AI-driven personalization, and power intelligent engagement across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation ofSalesforce Data Cloudsolutions. Define data models, ingestion strategies, identity resolution, harmonization, and activation of unified customer profiles. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable Data Cloud solutions. Managedata governance, security, and complianceacross multiple data sources. Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud withSales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, and external data platforms . Provide guidance onAI/ML use cases, Data Cloud + Agentforce/Data Cloud + Einstein GPT integrations . Mentor and lead a team of Salesforce professionals including admins, developers, and data engineers. Define best practices for data ingestion, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming pipelines. Partner with enterprise architecture and data teams to align Data Cloud initiatives with overall data strategy. Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and ongoing optimization of Data Cloud implementations. Stay current withSalesforce Data Cloud roadmap, releases, and new capabilities .Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of Salesforce platform experiencewith at least3+ years dedicated to Data Cloud/Customer Data Platform (CDP) . Proven expertise inSalesforce architecture, data integration, and enterprise solution design . Strong knowledge ofETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, connectors, and real-time streaming (Kafka, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) . Hands-on experience withdata modeling, identity resolution, consent management, and profile unification . Deep understanding ofdata governance, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices . Proficiency inSQL, data mapping, and data harmonizationtechniques. Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud withAI tools, Data Cloud + Marketing Cloud activation, and personalization journeys . Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
