Test Engineer – Electric and Electronics

Your job:Align with test managers and analysts on test strategy, plans, schedules, and technical detailsPrepare, plan, and execute test cases using ALM systems in internal or external labsPerform and supervise tests including climatic, endurance, vibration, EMC, and IP protectionEvaluate test results, document findings, and generate detailed test reportsQualify components with Profinet and EtherCAT interfacesSetup and manage manual and automated test benchesInvestigate customer complaints, reproduce failures, and support root cause analysis with quality teamsCollaborate closely with interdisciplinary and international teamsYour qualification:Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical fieldMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in setting up and operating complex manual or automated test systemsExperience as a test engineer in environmental testing is an advantageHands-on knowledge of programmable controllers (PLCs such as Siemens or Beckhoff) and peripheralsProficiency in PLC programming according to EN61131-3, especially in Structured Text or PythonBasic understanding of industrial fieldbus protocols such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCATExperience using ALM tools like Jira, Doors, or CodebeamerFamiliarity with software testing principles; ISTQB certification is an advantageExcellent written and spoken English communication skills
