Diagnostic Writer

We are looking for a skilled Diagnostic Writer to join our automotive engineering team. The ideal candidate will develop, review, and maintain high-quality diagnostic content to support service technicians in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities Developing and documenting efficient diagnostic methods at both the vehicle and component levels. Prepare text and graphics from CAD data to create diagnostic information. Use the authoring system to layout information and graphics that are easy to understand and consistent with publication and illustration guidelines. Compile necessary specifications (manufacturing specifications, wear tolerances, pressures, etc.) for each method. Understand new vehicle technology and determine relevant information to communicate to customers. Conduct training for other Diagnostic Engineers as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong knowledge of automotive and mechanical systems Strong knowledge of Diagnostic tool document Understand the R&D spec sheet and analyse the commonality in documents Standardize the workflow and process for fool proofing. Adhere to the standards and maintain the quality content. English proficiency at C1 level. Minimum 2 years of experience in writing mechanical, electrical and technical documentation within the automotive segment and/or 3 years aftermarket experience with truck or transportation industry Grade X Diagnostic Tool Education Bachelor’s/master’s in mechanical, Automobile, or related engineering.
