Area Sales Manager – Bangalore Location:Bangalore Company:Wenglor Sensoric India Private Limited Function:Sales – Industrial Automation (SensorTec / CamTec)Role Overview Wenglor Sensoric India is seeking a dynamic and result-orientedArea Sales Managerfor the Bangalore region. The role is a senior, client-facing position responsible for driving regional sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding Wenglor’s presence across OEMs, system integrators, and end-user industries. The position demands strong technical sales expertise, leadership capability, and a strategic approach to business development.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage sales operations for the Bangalore region to achieve and exceed assigned targets Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational goals Build and strengthen relationships with OEMs, system integrators, panel builders, and key end customers Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration across assigned industries Conduct regular field visits, customer meetings, and high-level negotiations Provide technical guidance, product presentations, and solution demonstrations to customers Forecast sales, track pipeline movement, and report performance to management Coordinate closely with internal teams (Pre-Sales, Order Processing, Service, and Marketing) Mentor and guide junior sales engineers, where applicable Stay updated on Industry 4.0 trends, competitor activities, and market developmentsIdeal Candidate Profile Experience:6–12 years in industrial automation sales (Sensors, Vision Systems, Safety Products, or Automation Solutions) Leadership Exposure:Prior experience handling a region or mentoring team members is preferred Domain Expertise:Strong fit forSensorTec (sensors & safety)and/orCamTec (vision-based solutions) Education:B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, or related disciplines Skills: Strong communication and negotiation abilities Strategic selling and key account management skills High customer orientation with a solution-selling mindset Mobility:Willingness for extensive field travel within the Bangalore region Availability:Immediate joiners or candidates with up to1-month notice periodpreferredShare your resume at:@
